Welcome to the website of Tan Curtis, founder and managing director of Fabic!

Book ReleaseTan founded Fabic in 2002 with the vision to support people to understand and change unwanted behaviour, while at the same time valuing each person’s uniqueness.

Passionate about working with people to improve their lives, she strongly believes in understanding people for who they are and supporting them to become who they want to be.

Tan has built up a successful national clinical practice based on the Gold Coast, offering consulting, assessment and training services in the field of behaviour management.

Tan has developed a range of useful products containing frequently repeated principles from her courses, which can stand alone or be used as excellent tools to reinforce course material.

Tan generously shares her knowledge of useful websites, books and resources in favourite links.  Follow her personal blog for insightful commentary on current events and general trends in the field of behaviour management.

As a public speaker, Tan is highly sought after.  For further information about her background and qualifications, please visit her personal profile.

In March 2011, Tan will launch her latest book Challenging Change!, which is the result of the knowledge and experience Tan has accumulated in her clinical practice.  However, the information contained in the book is so broad that everyone can benefit on some level.

Behaviour scale Computer Program

Completing a Functional Behaviour Assessment - Understand the reason for unwanted behaviours!

All human behaviour has a reason.  Identifying that reason is the first step in managing or modifying any behaviour pattern.  The information you input enables the computer program to work out specific reasons for the unwanted behaviour by conducting a Functional Behaviour Assessment along the same lines as Fabic provides in its clinical practice.  The resulting report provides you with the causes as well as practical tools to manage and modify the behaviour.
